Running Ubuntu and Debian on two other machines. Trying V6 on another. After boot I get, "fails to start Xorg" "at least one device needs to be identified". Get 'yes/no' to view problem, but don't know what to do with the information. The info sends me to wiki.x.org but that doesn't help. Would like to get this old 700Mhz machine back in use. Any help appreciated. Regards.

After boot login as root and then type:

vasm

That should get you to the configuration page so that you
can try setting up Xorg again.
