This package is a long time coming into the repo, but kaffeine-0.8.3 is in the testing repo.

Crashes severely. Most often the error is this:

After severe testing of the package, it works great here except for one thing. The sound of *.flv files doesn't work. Video however is fine... In the meantime there's already a XineLib 1.1.5 I saw.

But otherwise, no crashes here. Thanks for the effort John.

Alright, after upgrading xine-lib and making a symlink the xine package forgot my problem disappeared. I suppose that means the kaffeine package is alright for now  .

Info: The new version of Kaffeine-0.8.4 needs the newest xine-lib-1.1.5, and when these two are installed the *.flv files play with sound (just in case someone is trying to build the newest one with better playlist handling)

looks like a problem with either:
