I have tried many Linux distributions, but on none of them could I get my remote HP4680 all-in-one (wired network) to scan. The printing part is easy to set up, but the scanner seems impossible. Has anyone had success with scanning on a LAN? The server is Windows XP.
As a reward I'm considering giving one grain of wheat on the first square of a checkerboard, two on the second, and so forth. Is this an adequate reward?
