Grin Just to add some extra information....

I was having all sorts of strange problems with mounting cifs shares under the 7.0 alpha, which is why I decided to try gigolo/gvfs. It has allowed me to get full read/write access to Samba shares, and can also be used for things like SSH, FTP and other remote connection protocols. It is also built to support Gphoto2. Unfortunately, I ran out of time to upload the updated versions fo gphoto2/libgphoto2 which are needed. They should be available in the next 48 hours or so.

For some reason, the dep tracker hasn't picked up gvfs as a dep for gigolo. I'll have to adjust that later. However, for the moment, if you want to use Gigolo, you will need to install the gvfs package as well.

Paul.
