I'm having trouble with an HP Office|jet 6310 and VL6.0.
I set it up and printed successfully, both a test page, and an OOo file. But when I've since wanted to print again, it hangs (for ever – ie through repeated restarts of VL6.0, on subsequent days). It seems to be paused. The CUPS page shows:
OffieJet6310 “Paused”
Description: OfficeJet 6310 Location: Printer Driver: HP Officejet 6300 Series Foomatic/hpijs, hpijs 2.8.12.26 Printer State: stopped, accepting jobs, published. Device URI: hp:/usb/Officejet_6300_series?serial=CN7ATFW2VZ04M4
Any idea how to get it un-paused?

Thanks, NF. I had actually spotted that, and clicked the green 'Start printer' button. Now not paused. Still not printing, though! Still hangs, just the same. There's a coloured panel on the printer icon on the CUPS page. It's green when the printer's idle, and changes to yellow when it's obviously processing a job. It's just that this processing never comes to an end. Thanks for the help so far.

What driver are you using and where did you find it? That model is not listed under HP drivers on my VL6 Light; I didn't check my VL6 SOHO. See if you can try another driver.
One of my printers is a LaserJet P2055dn. If I use the hpijs driver for that specific model, it won't print. It just stays forever at "processing job" or whatever that message is in CUPS. If I use the PCL3 CUPS Gutenprint driver, it prints quickly and well. --GrannyGeek

Apologies for the delay in responding.
I have reinstalled the printer with the driver:
Printer Driver: HP OfficeJet 630 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.4
and it's working fine.
I'm just disconcerted now by how long the printer's own in-built display shows 'Printing...' long after the job is finished, and the CUPS info states 'idle, accepting jobs'. Still, it's working fine, and that's the main thing.
Thanks for the help.
