Hi all
I run VL 6.0 gold, with Xfce. I remember that, in the "good old times" (VL5.9 ?), I used an hexadedimal editor from kde packages: khexedit. Its display was clear, with colour enhancements, etc... The only hex editor I can find now is ghex (/usr/bin/ghex2) which is not as clean, although faster to start. I would like to use khexedit, but can't find it out (clearly, it's not installed):
root:# whereis khexedit khexedit: /usr/include/khexedit (in the answer above, khexedit is a directory, with no executable inside, only libraries)
I searched with gslapt, but it appears nowhere.
Does someone know how to install the needed kde package, so that khexedit is available again ?
