I'm running Thunderbird 3.1.5 under VL6.0
I've created a tree of local folders under Thunderbird to store the emails I want to keep.
I'd like to back up this folder tree. A 'locate thunderbird' command lists (among very many others):
home/martin/.thunderbird/xxxxxxxx.default (where xxxxxxxx denotes 8 numbers and lowercase letters), and this folder seems to contain the other folders I created.
Is this the folder I need to copy to my backup media? I see no facility within Thunderbird itself to backup up local data.
