I'm back. Signed in on Dec 04, but am just getting the courage (and knowledge) to install Vector Linux 6.0 KDE Classic. I was transitioning from Windows in 04 and have tried numerous distros, mostly those newbie friendly, but lately, Slackware and its derivatives are looking better all the time. I guess it's a matter of taste as near as I can tell when it comes to choosing a linux distro. The simplicity, speed, and stability of Slackware and its derivatives attract me alot. The learning curve is pretty steep; guess that's why it took me so long to get back here. But the results are really worth it. I'll be back and probably with lots of stupid questions.
