The painful part of moving a forum that contains information collected over several years from one database to another due to corruption and mysql injection hacking is that it has to be done manually. This also gives us the chance to clean house and make a better forum then before. With the invention of tabbed browsing this is not to hard to do. Simply open forum1 in the first tab open forum2 in the second tab then highlite the information in your original post on forum 1 right click with the mouse the choose copy from the menu then switch to forum2 open a category in the same topic you copied from then right click on the text area and choose paste from the menu and your done. This is especially important for people that have submitted howtos and have started information threads as no one can copy there information till you reproduce the original thread. If anyone has a better idea on how to do this please comment.
Thanks,
vec
