Sound problem

Hi guys. Did another install yesterday and have no sound.I have a USB speaker setup. Here's some code
You are working as doug
Frequently used programs:
Configuration  : vasm
File manager   : mc (press F2 for useful menu)
Editor         : mcedit, nano, vi
Multimedia     : alsamixer, play
localuser:root being added to access control list
Vector:/~

No sound anywhere...YouTube, avi, mp3 etc.
Suggestions ?

The problem is that the USB speakers use a built-in soundcard (which is why the snd_usb_audio module is loaded). The soundcard in your pc is the default soundcard.

You can change it, as shown here: http://forum.vectorlinux.com/index.php?topic=4888.0 .
There may also be an easier solution: If the speakers also have audio connectors, you can just connect them to the internal soundcard (intel HDA),  with a cable like this:
