Hello,
Is there an application for VL that permits you to work on PDF files (splitting, merging, etc,) ? (better if it's a basic one).
Best Regards,
Alberto

They're not VL applications or in the repo, but pdftk will do what you want from the command line. I think Multivalent will, too; it has a graphical interface.

Search for them on the Internet.

ImageMagik can display and do some editing to PDF's.
At the command line try...
display ./nameof.pdf

When the image opens left click on it and a window will open with ImageMagiks editing functions.

While searching for a ppt(Power point) viewer, I found this in the repos:

pdfedit (Office: editor for PDF documents.)
Repo: veclinux-6.0/extra/
Category: x-apps
Description:
Complete editing of PDF documents is possible with
PDFedit. You can change raw pdf objects (for
advanced users) or use many gui functions.
Functionality can be easily extended using a scripting
language (ECMAScript).

Hello Alberto,
KWord can modify existing pdf files. But I doubt you are using KDE with your machine specs so maybe stick with pdfedit which I've used only briefly.
