Will the latest kernel 2.6.38 be available for Vector? There are apparently some big changes and performance boosts.

I installed the 2.6.38 package and now I get a "battery fully charged" notification about once per minute. It was driving me crazy and I had to turn power notifications off. Any ideas why this happens?

EDIT: oops, forgot to mention: VL7 Beta1, XFCE-4.8.
