is it possible that you have files written there, so they are visible when the partition is not mounted?
Well, after further checking, the partition where VL7 resides it is actually not mounted
What I see in /mnt/VL7 when not mounted is an image of my "/" woking
VL6 partition. When I give command 'mount /mnt/VL7' the real /mnt/VL7 is
mounted and that 'ghost' mount is gone.
How could this be corrected without possibly damaging my VL6?
