On a HP-2133 Mini-Note I have an external IBM CD/DVD R/RW USB drive and I am
unable to burn correctly with k3b neither VL7-STD-RC1 nor VL7-Live Beta1.
Md5sum of the iso files are correct, however, when burned to a CD md5sum
returns error.
Yet I am able to burn other iso files correctly using k3b.
Could there be something wrong with the VL7 iso files in this respect?
I purchased now a new DVD/CD R/W drive, LightScribe, for my desktop PC
and again "md5sum /dev/sr0" returns Input/output error both for VL7-STD
and VL7-LIVE. md5sum of the iso files are correct.
I double-checked my old VL6-Live and a new Salix-LIVE-Fluxbox both return a correct
md5sum of the burned CDs.
Just wonder what could be wrong with the VL7?
md5sum /usr/local/VL7.0-STD-RC1.iso
0dd8237cbb247759afb1eb120f20252e /usr/local/VL7.0-STD-RC1.iso
md5sum -c /usr/local/VL7.0-STD-RC1.iso
md5sum: /usr/local/VL7.0-STD-RC1.iso: no properly formatted MD5 checksum lines found
Could that be the reason?
