OK I'll list history.
I downloaded and installed VL KDE, I wasso impressed that I invested in VL Soho.
Downloaded and installed, two main problems, 1- couldn't set screen resolution, 2 three times in as many hours the computer froze, had to use the power button to reboot.
Now here comes the strange part. I have an external (usb) 500GB hard drive, out of interest I installed VLSoho to this drive,
went like a dream!! (I'm on it now) .Correct selection of screen resolution and no problems.
Can any body tell me what might be happening and how to I get a successful installation on my "c" drive"
