Author Topic: Standard (vector 6) Install hangs when looking for partitions.  (Read 1596 times)

Image boots fine. Sees the target drive. Gparted sees the drive I want to install on. However no matter hwat I format the thing as (ext2, 3, whatever) it hangs on the part where it's looking for a partition to isntall itself to.

Does the fact it's a solid state drive have anything to do with this?

Could it be that I don't have home and root as separate partitions?

solid state drives are new since vector 6 might try one of the lastest vec 7 releases see how it goes for you. Currently we at the rc1 stage which means it should work out of the box with a few fixes.

Well Vector 6 works. Had to disable EFI booting.

...now to figure out if networking is the router's fault or not. That, however, is a differant subforum.
