hata_ph has built a new Libfm package for VectorLinux 7.0.

Looks like there is a new version of this package in the repository, built from the git source thats breaking pcmanfm.
Can anyone confirm this?

Found the problem, the pcmanfm version that works with the libfm from extra is still in testing

libfm-0.1.14 work well for pcmanfm-0.9.8 but if you want to use pcmanfm-0.9.9, you have to use libfm-0.1.16_20111020git-i586-1vl70
