Hello,

I just tried to install VL 6.0 KDE Classic on my eMachine T-3395. The installation went fine but now when I try to boot the computer hangs at the point of going to the multiuser GUI  mode. Here is the actual last line before it hangs. re.X ==> Going to multiuser GUI mode.

Any ideas why it would be stopping at this point? Thanks!

Hi hata_ph,

as a matter of fact I can and that's what I did and then ran vasm and made some changes to the
video and graphic settings and now Vector boots into the GUI.

Thanks for your reply!

I think the root cause is the X configuration.

PS: Pls help to mark this thread as closed. Smiley
