I was curious about it, so i downloaded the tool, it is a wizard tool that lets you build an iso for a bootable cd/dvd or usb stick, 250Mb of nothing, once it is booted you are introduced to the main window of MS Security Essentials Antivirus renamed to "Standalone System Sweeper", no start menu, no taskbar, no task manager, nothing...
The virus definition database is not updated so i tried to update, but the system didn't detect my network card, so i tried to update from a file that i downloaded a couple days ago but the antivirus wouldn't update because my computer ran out of memory, i'm no t sure why because i tried it in a box with enough ram (1.5 Gb DDR2).
The Scan option was greyed out, so NO SCAN was available, and when y closed the antivirus main window, the system rebooted automatically, no "are you sure you want to reboot" dialog. It was just a waste of a CD, bandwidth and my time.
