Here it's VL 6 Light, Firefox 3.6.18, and Flash Player 10.3.183.5.
Visited PalTalk Express and got as far as "sign up" with no problems before leaving voluntarily. Didn't like the privacy policy.
Deluxe (Standard or SOHO) includes KDE 4. I have to wonder whether Flash Player isn't trying to use the KDE 4 versions of its player, etc. rather than what's in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins. I took a look at the Flash Player tarball, and there's KDE 4 stuff there. I untarred it directly to / (except for putting libflashplayer.so manually where it's needed) and didn't experience any problems except that "properties" doesn't like and can't use the GTK that comes with Light.
You might try installing the whole tarball (except libflashplayer.so to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins), but back up existing files 'cos unlike me, you may already have something there.
