let me introduce
« on: July 31, 2011, 08:52:25 pm »

hallo,

my first linux was an (x)ubuntu vers. 8.1 i think but there i got problems because of recognizing hardward especially soundcard..then i searched on distrowatch for older hardware and got vl 6.0 (xfce)..here recognizing hardware was no problem..im still learning linux especially slackware based..think my knowledge isnt so much so i need more "input"..later i went to vl 7.0 rc1..well for now it works extremely good..the only thing i got in trouble was recognizing my scanner..my solution: use virtual box arch linux there s no problem recognizing my scanner..but i know vl 7.0 isnt a stable version maybe i need to go back to stable version vl 6.0..

many thanks to the vector linux forum and the vector developers its an light weight os and i like it very much ..

greetings

raleeha

p.s. sorry for bad english
