Hello VectorLinux community!
First, I come from of canada *
French Canadien * I started with Linux in 2007 after another blue screen of death Windows XP. After that I decided that Windows was over for me! Like many, I tested all kinds of Linux Distro as beginning and I must say that the choice was great. I remember during my tests VectorLinux is the one that impressed me most in terms of speed, stability and administration tools on my old Toshiba Laptop P30. Since that time and although I always use other Distro. But I've always been a fan of VectorLinux. I never really needed to post on the forum because I have not had any major problems. Today I have three computer with a mini Netbook and a big next-generation desktop. There is also that of my girlfriend that I'am built. VL Soho KDE is one of the only Linux Distro KDE has run perfectly on the Netbook with not freeze screen. Only 5 Distro runs perfectly on this hardware a bit light on all the ones I tested for fun * over 40 distro *. Moreover, VL is always turned on all Desktop and Laptop that I use as a test. * I built computers as a hobby for my friends and business Customers *
Today I introduced myself on the forum. Because I would like that VectorLinux is considered by most new Linux users. Vector Linux for me is in the Top 10 Distro for all of these qualities. I am always surprised on the Distrowatch the rank of VectorLinux.
I think Vector Linux offers the best of both world is: easy installation, stability of Slackware, a fast system and system administration tools.
Best Regard
