I've been using HomeBank 4.0.1 with VectorLinux 6.0 Deluxe for a few months now and have been downloading and importing my bank transactions in OFX format problem free until recently. For some reason, HomeBank won't keep the account transaction updates past August 3rd. They import and show up in the account detail. But when I save the new transactions and re-open the account they are gone.

I've tried to search the HomeBank LaunchPad help pages without success. Anyone else have this problem?

I've given up on HomeBank and I am now using Grisbi with VL 7.0 RC2.1. A much better designed accounting software for XFCE.

Sorry I was not much help with the original problem, but you did help determine what program I'll choose for my own personal money management use.
Sounds like Grisbi is the way to go.

So far it appears to be much better. Most importantly, it has running balances whereas HomeBank doesn't.
