I am running slackware 13.37 and followed the README_CRYPT.TST and have everything but /boot encrypted.

I'm looking at encrypting VL in the same manner.  Is there a how-to or a FAQ for Vector Linux on how to accomplish the same thing?

Thank you.

-JJ

PS This is a for a laptop that I take to work.

It should be the same or very similar for VL7. Probably the biggest difference is if slack uses lilo instead of grub. But it shouldn't be too difficult to "translate" the lilo kernel switches to grub.

Please keep this thread updated with your progress or any issues you run into. This sounds like a very interesting topic.
