Sorry for having to ask this dummkopf question....  Embarrassed

I am trying out VL in a VMware Workstation and in trying to install VM in VL, it is asking me for "valid kernel header path" ... I've looked around VL but it's been awhile since I've looked for kernel file(s) and cannot remember where they are placed!  Huh

Thanks y'all!  Wink

What are the switches to use to extract this?

You probably just need the kernel-striped-src one, but the full source would be ok as well.
All you have to do to install is right click on the file and choose "Install Package"
or
from the command line as root...
installpkg ./nameofpackage.txz
