As I don't want to try installing an xz file, I will wait til it gets to the repositories.
Does anyone know why thunar keeps coming back. Like, to I have a ghost in my laptop? I kill it. Put a stake through its heart. Double check gslapt. Its not installed. But it still lives somewhere in the innards of my computer. Only reason I don't like it is that the "open terminal here" button doesn't work. Pcmanfm's does.

I just wanted to bring to packagers' attention that there is a new version. The link to the archive is there for their convenience and expedience. Can't help you with thunar, that should go in another thread anyway.

Seems to be a fork off of pcmanfm-mod
Seems more like a name change: Earlier versions of this program were released under the name PCManFM-Mod

I tried spacefm, it is a significant departure from pcmanfm-mod. There are multiple panels as well as tabs. It looks promising, but needs some time to mature.

ok, good to know.
fwiw, I got sunflower-fm into the 32bit repos, yesterday or the day before. I like the way it integrates the terminal into the filemanager.

I noticed that version 1.2.4 is in repo, and it's compiled without "--disable-hal". Upgrading breaks VL7 Light.

Ok, sorry about that. I'll fix when I get back home. Will fix spacefm as well, should take the same option.
