Hello, vectorlinux is so smooth
« on: December 10, 2011, 02:04:28 pm »
Hi everyone

I like this distro over the other because its so fast and stable
Stupidly I'm stuck on burning a disc in vector linux.
I'm trying to burn an vector linux iso file to a cd rom using brasero.
Brasero seems to work fine until I click on burn. Then it tells me
'Please install the following manually and try again:
wodim (application).'

and by the way what is double posting?

Greetings from Belgium

Double posting is posting the same message in more than one section of the Forum. That makes it confusing because someone might answer in one section and someone else in another section and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

So please post in just one section. I think most of us who regularly answer look at all unread posts.

Looks like wodim is missing from a standard install.. you may have found a bug in the cdrkit package.

Was this from a live-cd install or a install-cd install.  I'll test to see if I get the same result.  Just want to make sure I'm am testing in the right environment.
