So... a heads up for a possible SOHO Classic 7.0, the Trinity project just released version 3.5.13 of what used to be KDE 3, with, reportedly, a lot of improvements. They have also taken over as maintainers of the QT3 source code now.

Thanks Joe. It has been very quiet about Trinity lately. Not sure how much is involved in building it for VL. The Slackware port is still at 12.2. I emailed them months ago and subscribed to the mailing lists, but haven't received anything.

Update: Build scripts for SW 13.1 were just posted. There is movement!  Smiley

I check it already but it seem the build script is not working for trinity-3.5.13 Sad

Darrell Anderson has updated the build scripts:

File size went from 327K to 55.5M, mainly due to a huge file koffice/koffice-1.6.3-26.20090306svn.fc12.src.rpm, not sure if that was intentional.

The project just transitioned from SVN to GIT, not sure if they're completely back up and running.
