VL 7.0 STD
When launching k3b from the menu, a window showing this comes up:
Unable to find cdrecord executable
K3b uses cdrecord to actually write CDs.
Solution: Install the cdrtools package which contains cdrecord.
If I try burning a CD, it'll give me the same error message.
Then, I searched for cdrecord using GSlapt. It found a package called "wodim" and its description says it was the new cdrecord. In /usr/bin is a link called "cdrecord" which links to /usr/bin/wodim, but k3b won't let me choose freely which file to use as cdrecord executable and instead just offers a search function which only seems to recognize files of a type and name as specified by k3b.
I've got VL 7.0 STD installed on my laptop and on my multimedia PC and would really like to have the ability of burning CDs. And I don't want to use any other program than k3b since it's the best one for me.
Could anybody tell me how to fix this?
