Choppy youtube videos

for the longest time I thought VL ran flash perfectly but I was in fluxbox and so I decided to try xfce and now the youtube vids are choppy when fullscreened. possible fix?

Disable hardware acceleration in Flash. Tends to smooth things out.

still choppy, weird thing is that fluxbox runs it perfectly but why can't xfce?

Using same web browser in both instances?

It could have to do with XFCE's compositing engine. You could try turning off effects in xfce.
