lilo bootloader where is it?
« on: January 02, 2012, 07:36:10 am »
I have installed Vector 7.0 gold on Intel Apple Mac Mini 1.66ghz - I partitioned my hard drive and installed lilo bootloader from the installation menu. If I install another OS Ubuntu 10.04 LTS on another partition will they both automatically show up at the startup in lilo?  Do I install another bootloader in Ubuntu? I can't find my lilo file in Vector. It is not under etc/liloconf.  I know it is there otherwise it would not boot up. Right now lilo does not show up first on boot up.

Lilo configration file is in /etc/lilo.conf.

If you install Ubuntu afterwards Ubuntu can add Vector
to it or you can add Ubuntu to the lilo.conf.

You can use VASM for some of your lilo configuration functionality.
