Linux Mint refugee
« on: December 15, 2011, 08:00:12 pm »
Hi Vector Linux Community. I got interested in this linux diostro cause of open source bistro, but since Vector was based off of Slackware I was afraid to try it cause debian and slackware are so diffrent. Diffrent package managers and such. What really made me want to try it was the fact it came with fluxbox at default. And since I am a big fluxbox user I decided to take the plunge. It runs really well I must say. So fast! I really must say I do not see that big of diffrence between tgz and deb packages. So I must say I am impressed with VL. Can't wait to see what all this distro can do.

There are some packages requested by another fluxbox fan that may be of interest to you.  They are all in the repository now.
