I could not identify anything like ksnapshot or snapper in the repository. How do other users do it?

shutterbug, imagemagick (`import via the command line`), xfce4-screenshooter-plugin, etc

The only suggested program I could locate was xfce4-screenshooter. It certainly does the trick. Thank you.

As for the gimp suggestion, I've only been using it since 2003 so I guess I must have missed something. Tell me how does one take screen shots with gimp?
