Bonjour!

Now running kernel 3.2.1 for many days, didn't notice that the built-in driver for  ar9271 wifi (Atheros Communications, Inc)would still be deaf when wifi signal is over 11 channel(eg, 12, 13,14, channel),
Do offer me fix commands to use my ar9271 on 13 /14 channel!

 a bein tot!

If the old kernel worked, then use that one.

it never work, even under old kernel.
i'm sure due to your yankee police state measures, kernel developper turned off channels 12-14 support for the wifi chip ar9271.
most vl7 users living ouside  north america/eu, there's crda to bypass yankee blackout..
but i downloaded crda source, can' t install, here's the sripot

Quote
vector:/~/crda-1.1.2
vl7stdgold:$ make
  GEN  keys-gcrypt.c
  Trusted pubkeys: pubkeys/linville.key.pub.pem
ERROR: Failed to import the "M2Crypto" module: No module named M2Crypto
Please install the "M2Crypto" Python module.
On Debian GNU/Linux the package is called "python-m2crypto".
make: *** [keys-gcrypt.c] Error 1

pls help the commands

M2cryto worked, but installation stalled at:
Quote
vector:/~/crda-1.1.2
vl7stdgold:$ make
  GEN  keys-gcrypt.c
  Trusted pubkeys: pubkeys/linville.key.pub.pem
  CC   reglib.o
  CC   crda.o
  LD   crda
  CC   intersect.o
  CC   print-regdom.o
  LD   intersect
  CC   regdbdump.o
  LD   regdbdump
  EXIST  /usr/lib/crda/regulatory.bin

ERROR: The file: /usr/lib/crda/regulatory.bin is missing. You need this in place in order
to verify CRDA. You can get it from:

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/linville/wireless-regdb.git

Once cloned (no need to build) cp regulatory.bin to /usr/lib/crda/regulatory.bin
Use "make noverify" to disable verification

make: *** [/usr/lib/crda/regulatory.bin] Error 1

what shall type under console next?what commands next?
