Get is now, the 2011 Multi-media bonus disk.  Just use this link to go to opensourcebistro and click on the link there to download. (Having you click the link from OSB so I can count the downloads)
mmbdvl70std-2011

Here is what is inside. (for 32bit VL only)
Acidrip, Art of Illusion, Aqualung, aTunes, Audacity, Avidemux, Blender, BRL-CAD, Cinelerra-CV, Clipgrab, Comix, Denemo, DeVeDe, Dia, Discwrapper, DVDStyler, Eaglemode, EasyImageSizer, Flush, FotoWall, Fotoxx, Fox, Fyre, GiftedMotion, Gimp-2.7.1, Gogglesmm, Gpodder, Gqview, gtk-RecordMyDesktop, GTKcdlabel, GTKpod, Hugin, Hydrogen, Imagination, JBrout, Jokosher, Kino, Lives, LMMS, Mashup, Milkytraker, Miro, Mixxx, Openshot, Pencil, Phatch, Pianobooster, Pitivi, Pixelize, Qasmixer, qx11grab, RRipper, Screengrab, stopmotion, streamtuner2, TiMidity++, TranscoderAudio, TranscoderVideo, Tuxguitar, Ufraw, Video4fuze, vlc, vlmc, vmpk, WebCamStudio, wxCam, Xaralx, Xvidcap.

Just download the iso and burn to a cd. Then pop it in and click launch.sh to start.
alternatively, you can extract the iso to it's own directory,  with isoMaster from the repo, then click launch.sh to start.

The 2012 update is due, but before I commit the time, I'd like to make sure there is an interest.
For those who have not tried it yet, here is your chance.
P.S.
It's worth checking out just to see the installer MOE_lnx made for this project.

@Stretchedthin,
FWIW, You should make the link @ OSB more obvious.  It's not "popping" out of any of the rest of the content there.

Can't change color in this wordpress theme, but I was able to set it to blink.

You probably know best, but are the MMBD 2011 packages still relevant for VL7 or just VL6? Maybe hit-and-miss? Just trying to get a feel before downloading to test. Cheesy

Everything is built on and works on vl7.0.

stretchedthin, I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. Life at the moment feels awfully busy and I'm having a hard time finding free, play time Grin . I will certainly comment back when I have a chance to play with it.

I've been producing music on PC's since DOS days, mostly with the Cakewalk/Sonar family. I have VL7.0 running on an IBM NetVista, and I just started playing around with LMMS (Linux MultiMedia Studio), but haven't gotten very far yet. I'd love to explore MMBD, but the link in your post just takes me to the OSB site, and I can't find MMBD there. What am I missing?

FWIW i voted yes and would happily pay $18 for it if there were a 64 bit version. vl764 is my current OS choice and i can see sticking with it for  while.

I thought the VL MMBD was a good add-on to keep around.  I voted to keep it @ $18.00.  I've never purchased a copy myself, because my computing interests are not media related, but I did contribute code and time to one of the releases.  I would have liked to see it continue to grow.

Thanks to those of you who voted.  Unfortunately, 10 votes does note indicate nearly enough interest in the project, no matter how passionate those 10 people are.

I'm not entirely, sure it was in the best interest of VL in hind sight. I think it actually kept good Multi-media software from the main repo.  And for VL to attract users from the big boys users will want the apps in the repository and not as a paid for supplementary  disk.

I'll be working on updating and moving the applications to the main repo.  Over time everything that was in the MMBD will be in the repo, as long as it still builds on Vl.
