Not sure where to report this, but here goes...

I received an e-mail on my e-mail account from "General Support Queue via IM" <support@vector.ecosq.com>. Someone created a trouble ticket #781 regarding: "friend#hi~". This is without my knowledge or approval. I did change my e-mail password since. I wanted to alert the forum and inquire if there is anything I need to do to stop whoever is at work using my login.

Thanks

Looks like "bounce" spam. This is where something is sent to a bogus "to:" address, but has a valid return address. When the email is bounced, it goes directly to the intended recipient.

Well, I was not sure where to report this. Or if it needed to be reported. One of those things that may not turn up to be anything. But then again, the internet can be like the wild, wild west...

You reported in a good place. I am one that gets the support requests.

Looks like someone gained access to your account to create the
request.

Changing your password may have worked.

I've just received a similar message, which I attach.

My password was completely insecure, I've changed it.

No, not spam. But poorly executed if legit. Great way to get blacklisted.
