I'm trying to load swappiness at boot, i tried editing the rc.local file and adding the line vm.swappiness=10 but it doesn't work.... how can I turn on swap at boot?  Does sysctrl.conf exist in linux because i thought i was supposed to add swappiness there and if so where is it located?

The command would be:
Code:
sysctl vm.swappiness=10

To disable swap, comment out the line for it in /etc/fstab
