Firewall Stopped Error and VL7 [SOLVED]
« on: March 18, 2012, 01:42:42 pm »

After selecting "Enable the firewall on booting" in the VASM Superuser - Network Menu - Firewall Configuration section I now receive the following message in an endless loop when shutting down my computer:

... Firewall Stopped ........................ Firewall Stopped ............
... Firewall Stopped ........................ Firewall Stopped ............
... Firewall Stopped ........................ Firewall Stopped ............
And on and on

I have to press the stop button on my computer to shut it down. I've tried changing the settings in VASM to no avail. How do I correct this?

I had no problems using the Firewall before I monkeyed with VASM.

This problem was solved in another forum topic entitled, "disable firewall" which is located here:
