Kylo: The best TV web browser out there?
« on: March 21, 2012, 10:24:24 pm »
Finally, is TV internet finally a reality?

Most software that I've tried were far from what we consider TV.

We've been duped with no channels or predominantly foreign language channels.
Others would freeze your system, import junk-ware and/or a poor picture quality.

Free Live TV Software was the closest I thought remotely approached actual TV, yet, it's plagued with junk-ware and its memory hogging program, just like those other run-of the mill TV programs.
Even though its channel selection isn't typical.

I wonder if Kylo can be ported to the Vector 64 bit?

kylo is running under linux, just download xulrunner and kylo source pakage,
extract both and run kylo with xulrunner-bin [pathtokylo]/application.ini

If anyone is missing 3 extensions (glosshd, httpheader and udlrcursor then
just download the windows version and copy the 3 folders from extensions
dir to the extensions dir in source pakage.
