Hello,

Vector Linux 7 has made a believer out of me.  It has been a very long time since I have had joyous feelings about computing with open source operating systems.  There has always been something lacking, whether it be specific functionality or clumsy slow interfaces that make me feel like I'm using hardware from the stone-age.  With 6 year old hardware VL7 makes me feel like I just upgraded to a new machine.  This has to be the fastest and most operable Linux I have used in years .  Hats off to the Vector Linux Team!

As a token of my appreciation I will uphold the honors associated with being a VectorHead. I vow to frequent these forums and assist those who need help acclimating to the environment.

That's high praise.  Good to have you on board and thanks for the offer to help others.
