VLOCITY64 7.0.1 bug report.

I tried to install the latest version of VLOCITY64 (7.0.1) on my computer and it will not recognize the highest resolution for my HP w1707 monitor (1440x900).

Hi Locator,
I had a similar problem with my Nvidia card, what is your video card and which driver are you using?
Some useful commands for that are:

But the thing is that all the other versions of Vector Linux DO recognize all the screen resolutions of my monitor.

You have two routes. You can try with the method I detailed in this post: http://forum.vectorlinux.com/index.php?topic=16756.msg93244#msg93244
Or you can try the proprietary drivers from Nvidia site. You need the kernel source for that, which you can find in http://vectorlinux.osuosl.org/VL64-7.0/kernels.
If you go with this last route, be sure you install the kernel source matching you installed kernel version. You can find your installed kernel version with "uname -r" in the terminal.
