I have a fresh install of VL7STD and everything is working fine. I have my favorite interface (rox pinboard, fluxbox and a panel)  working nicely.  Im now wondering about upgrading. When i start gslapt and choose "Mark All Upgrades" some packages are marked to be down graded. What is the reason for that?

Also, from expierience with other linux distros, wholesale upgrading usually breaks something. Any known issues with a wholesale upgrade of VL7STD ?

It could due to some mistake in packaging of some of the packages. But I don't recommend to do a system upgrade cause it may break something.
Install/upgrade what your need only.
