So i have recently discovered that my kernel compiles and configurations arent going as i expect because im using a 32 bit os, VL7 STD GOLD.

So im going to install the VL64 release candidate. Any cautions or advice generally?

Okay, i installed it. The only thing that doesnt work so far is rox -pinboard which is my favorite destop icon app. This is the error:
Quote
[m0rl0ck@vector:~]$rox -pinboard
/usr/share/ROX-Filer/AppRun: line 52: /usr/share/ROX-Filer/ROX-Filer: No such file or directory
/usr/share/ROX-Filer/AppRun: line 52: /usr/share/ROX-Filer/ROX-Filer: Success

Any help would be appreciated. Oh BTW vasm doesnt work:
Quote
[vector://home/m0rl0ck
root:# vasm
bash: vasm: command not found
/quote]

Everything else is great so far tho Smiley
