OK, WMII may not have the best multiple monitor support, however, it looks interesting.

If you want a tiling WM with good multiple monitor support then Awesome Window Manager is the way to go. It needs Cairo with the xcb backend enabled. Ratpoison and DWM are probably the smallest. A good one that it is in the repo already is XMonad.
