Hello every body. I just made the move from ubuntu to
vector linux.

How to clean old packages from a newly installed VectorLinux 7.0 Standard Family?

I use bleachbit and ubuntu tweaks in buntu. How to here.

I installed bleachbit but it shows a lot of red as is not capable of cleaning it.

Is there a command I can use in the terminal to delete old kernels and old

packages?

No idea how to help here as I always just do a clean install of vector in the first place, i.e. I long ago divided my HD into a root, home and swap partition.  When I install VL 7, I leave my home partition alone (don't reformat it).  I install VL 7 in the root partition.  That works going from VL 6 to VL 7.  No clue what to do when going from Ubuntu to VL7.

I figured out bleachbit. Nee to be logged in as root.
But how to delete old kernels?

bleachbit 0.9.0 in VL 7 repositories does not need to start in root.  Apparently there is a 0.9.2 available.  Perhaps that needs root.
