Nice release, hope we can do something about the problem I faced with the GUI installer in future versions. Ideally I'd see the text installer offering the same functionality as the GUI installer, but I understand that maintaining 2 installers can be a pain.

We have been working in an implementation that separates the presentation logic from the backend. In the next release GUI and TUI will reuse the same backend code, so it will be more like a single installer with presentations or views configurable at runtime.

That's great!
I know that a graphical installer can be important for some people as a first impression, but personally I don't really care much for them. Especially on machines that have slightly troublesome graphics hardware, it's nice to have a backup plan.

Running the installation of SOHO 7 i ran into a couple of errors.
Adding users was not displayed properly, the lower part of the gui wasn't visible.
Secondly also in useradd there is an option of "other" but when i tried that option.
The system crashed/ turned off the gui, and i rebooted and started over. (easiest solution)

Keyboard map selection options for testing didn't work at all.
Every keyboard had the same layout in testing, so i got lucky.

One more thing i missed in the gui is swapless install.
Now i haven't checked my configs yet.
But it seems to work flawlessly anyhow.

So far im impressed with the speed and basic configurations of the SOHO build.
As ive come to be accustomed to.
It has some nice looking graphics that makes for a professional impression.
Im not an flash-guy but it still looks very sharp!

I will ad some suggestions for improvements later on.
Maybe there is something new in the bug-parts of interest.
