How do I go about getting, and installing more Google gadgets on my computer (I use Vector Linux 7.0)?

In Gslapt, there is a package for Google gadgets (google-gadgets 0.11.2-i586-2vl70).  Make sure you have this installed.  If you can't find it in Gslapt, then enable the "extra" repository within your sources (via Gslapt, Edit, Preferences, Sources -- make sure http://vectorlinux.osuosl.org/veclinux-7.0/extra/ is selected).  Update, then select the google-gadgets package and install.

If you already have installed it and are wanting more, try going to the following site:
http://code.google.com/p/google-gadgets-for-linux/
I don't actually know if there's anything extra here, since I'm not really familiar with the project.
I am using VL7.0 standard with XFCE
