I'm trying to instal vectorlinux 7.0 SOHO, but when i get to the point of choosing my installation source it says "No intallation media found", so i click on the browse button to point to the first iso in my usb, and click next, then i get an error saying that an unexpected error has ocurred and the operation must be aborted. I don't know what the problem is.
While booting the installation assistant i get a few errors i got to read one saying something like "FATAL" and "modules.dep" and a few other saying that something could not be found.
please help me.

I also noticed that when i choose the browse button to point to the first cd iso, i don't get any information in the box below where it says: distribution, version, location, media type, etc.. it's just blank. I've also downloaded the two isos twice just to see if the files were corrupted or something but i got the same result  Sad

I'm assuming you are working from this video...
Save the CD's. Put Vectorlinux Std or Soho Installer on to USB drive.

Try this... Put the iso's  on a 2nd usb stick. Have both usb's plugged in when you boot up the machine and start the install.  See if the iso, is detected this time. If you get the something can't be found warning again, browse to that new usb and select the first iso.

I'm assuming you have used the Windows (unetbootin) install method? Is that correct?
