hata_ph has built a new Google-earth package for VectorLinux 32bit and 64bit repositories 7.0.

Code:
google-earth: google-earth (Google's famous virtual globe)
google-earth:
google-earth: Google Earth is a virtual globe program. It maps a version of the
google-earth: Earth by the superimposition of images obtained from satellite
google-earth: imagery, aerial photography and GIS over a 3D globe. You point
google-earth: and zoom to any place on the planet that you want to explore.
google-earth: Satellite images and local facts zoom into view.
google-earth:
google-earth: License: GPL
google-earth: Authors: http://www.google.com/earth/index.html
google-earth: Website: http://www.google.com/earth/index.html

After testing this package please stop back here and let us know how it works for you.

I could not get it to run on 64, it needs more 32bit libs installed.

Any error?

EDIT: I think it is missing /lib/ld-linux.so.2 in the 64bit iso. It seem it require multilib packages in 64bit for google-earth to work Sad

first it wanted libpthread.so.0 so I got that from the glibc-solibs pkg, and then it wanted:
root:# ./googleearth
./googleearth-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libGL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

So I gave up  Smiley

I think google-earth 64bit is not a fully 64bit application and i think it need multilib package to work on 64bit. Is there a way to have multilib on 64bit?

yes, 64bit is fully multilib compatible, you just need to install the 32bit libs required by the app you want to run.
