Introducing myself
« on: July 16, 2012, 02:30:50 pm »
Hi, people!

New to Vector Light over here. My hardware is not too old but I like performance to run programs over desktop environment that eat all your resources. Slackware based distros are the best, and this, in  particulary, es a great distro.  Congratulations to all the VL team. (Sorry about my bad english).

Yes Slackware based distros are indeed awesome, awesome as in Slackware that has been tailored in some fashion - like Vector Linux or Slax or SalixOS, etc., each with their own emphasis on maintaining the Slackware model yet tailoring the spin/distro for particular user types.

Vector is a valuable member of this family of distros :)
